My thoughts: We have been systematically put under undue stress. The average 9th grader (14 year old) is under the same stress levels that a full grown adult in the 1950's would have been committed to an asylum for treatment. Either we have adapted to where this stress level is normal, acceptable and manageable or the world has been changed around us. We are broken before adulthood.
