I just had a haircut and the hairdresser definitely knew I was autistic af why can’t I have a normal conversation, I reply in 1 or 2 words and I’m monotone. Without the meds I can speak abit better

when i was taking adhd meds my autistic traits got so much better i was talking to everyone without worrying that was the best time of my life now i do not take them anymore and it got so much worse i miss it

i relate to what ur saying, i was definitely coming off way more autistic than before i got on meds but i also relate to the other ppl saying that it gave them a personality or helped them with the autistic aspects of their personality, it somehow does both for me at the same time

I have such a vivid memory of telling my psychiatrist that I thought my Adderall was making me ‘more autistic’. He chuckled and went “haha yeah, that doesn’t surprise me.” then moved onto another topic. Like girl back it up a minute???
