Horse RACING is cruel. Horse RIDING is almost always fine and the horses are properly cared for with the riders caring deeply about them.

My horse waits at the gate to be rode and is so happy to come out ever time no matter what and dont get me wrong they need breaks once in a while but you can’t just let them rot in a field they need to be exercised and most horses are actually happier when they are being rode and have a job

Horses do actually have the choice to consent to being ridden. if a horse doesn't want to be ridden, it won't let you on. It will simply walk away from you or do something else. Horses can speak to us, not with words, but through body language

It’s called bonding. you probably wonder why horses don’t fucking murder you when you hop on their back. Trust me you’d know if a horse doesn’t want you on their back. Also saddles and other tack have been specifically designed for the horses comfort and yours
