I also find highly contradictory that he's philosophy is to "expand knowledge"—which obviously includes people who cannot afford it (hence why he stopped teaching at the university and now gives free lectures)—yet the Intelligentsia Guild maintains strong ties to the IPC and constantly collaborates with them. This is a corporation that obviously privatizes education and is staunchly opposed to expanding access to it—especially when that knowledge doesn't serve their financial interests! And yes, it is clearly out of necessity, but it remains a massive philosophical contradiction.
