@brief.nepal: Nearly 6,000 kilometers from home, Nepali Sherpas have been quietly leaving their mark on Norway's mountains.For almost 20 years, skilled Sherpa craftsmen have traveled to Norway each year to build over 200 hand-carved stone stair trails across some of the country's most rugged and challenging terrain. Their work helps prevent erosion, restore mountain paths, and make hiking safer for millions of visitors. Using traditional Himalayan stone masonry alongside modern engineering, they carefully shape and place every stone by hand. Some rocks weigh more than 1,000 kilograms and must even be transported by helicopter before construction begins. Their craftsmanship has become an attraction in itself, helping boost tourism while preserving Norway's natural landscapes. The same Sherpas the world knows for conquering the Himalayas are also building paths that people from around the world now walk—bringing Nepal's skill, dedication, and craftsmanship to the global stage. 🇳🇵🏔️
