@katosi.pig.farm: At 6 Months and one week. Came as piglets of about one month (less than two months) weighing 10 - 12Kg, and, 5 months later, they weigh 100kg. The male castrates sold for Pork, the lone female gilt kept for reproduction and served with Ai (artificial insemination). Starting with 5 piglets (one female, 4 male castrates), there have been so many lessons learnt about raising weaners to finishers/gilt. We now know quite a lot and we continue to learn more. As we have had the gilt inseminated, we start on yet another phase of the pig farming. #pigfarming
