People have been saying this since 2017 when I brought my first house 😂. So many people called me crazy for buying while I was trying to convince them to buy. And I KNOW they all wish they bought then. Idk what people are “waiting” on. If you don’t have the money now you for sure won’t have it then

the housing market bubble will pop, its economics - nothing will change that. The difference between now and 2008 is that PE like Blackstone will sweep up all of the foreclosure properties instead of people who are “well off”.

You really think you buy a home right now for 750k it’s going to sell for 3.5 million at some point? It’s not going to happen and 750k is not worth it. It can’t stay that high if no one thinks it’s worth it

If you live paycheck to paycheck and don’t save or invest anything, you are not going to be in a position to take advantage of any sort of crash. The people that will be able to take advantage of whenever the next crash comes, are the people who built their life and career since the last one. It’ll be more of a…oh shit, look what I can do right now. They’re not sitting and waiting for the next one.

The banks would hold every one of those properties before they let prices fall. They learned a lesson in 09. They’ll just hold until the market stabilizes

They’ve been say a crash is coming since 2023. They believe that eventually they will be right.

I have been saving but a housing market crash might be needed because the market is overvalued. The prices exceed demand. The downstream effects are possible high unemployment, but market corrections always happen when the valuation of the market exceeds people’s ability to maintain demand. It’s not good or bad, maybe incomes catchup but the fundamentals on the ground right now suggest that it probably needs to happen.

Regular people can get in on the action if they actually have savings. You act like you need to be a millionaire to become a homeowner

The housing market is definitely overvalued. I don’t think we will see a “crash.” But I do think prices will come down a bit because buyers aren’t purchasing a 2 bd for 400k that’s just crazy lol

crashes are also where we have massive change. we could have a political revolution if the market for homes crash. you can't have all the workers homeless, the society won't work anymore

Facts! And it’s the same with the Market; they’re designed for non-regular folks who are “already good”.

The housing crash ain’t coming. Many many homes are either paid off by boomers or under 4% interest rates. and correct, the paycheck to paycheck folks aren’t gonna be able to buy 1 anyway. It’ll be the rich and corporations.

Not to mention the rich haven’t slowed down one bit. We built 3 4500+ sq ft houses for the same 5 person family over the last 2 years
