If the power lines are on your property, also then there is an easement and they are responsible for trimming those branches

Don’t pay anyone until you call the power company back and speak with a supervisor or someone in the dept that takes care of the tree trimming over power lines. I believe it is their responsibility.

Our electric company comes and trims branches over lines in town every year. That’s crazy. It’s preventive maintenance on their part.

I'd encourage you to call the power company again. We have lines running through trees on our property and the power company came and cut back branches specifically because they didn't want anyone hitting the lines.

Our elec company come threw every year and cut the trees around the power line and any trees they are dead that could hit the power lines and it’s free
