Getting gifts for someone and planning an outing together is not a gender role women can do those same things I do it all the time. Women just wish to see equal work on their partners end instead of feeling forgotten and left out WHY IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND

It isn’t about gender roles, it’s about how most men feel comfortable once they get into a relationship and doesn’t feel the need to make any effort, leaving all the planning on their wives/ girlfriends for everything, kids, meals, etc. Spice things up with effort and thought.
