No nasssges here! Lucky if I got given any ice, they always said they didn’t have any. The physio said yes they do and got some. I think they just couldn’t be bothered. Was unceremoniously plonked inside a carrier inside a pillow case and I had to balance it on my knee. Useless kept falling off. Ooh I’d love a massage on my post op knee right now. How lovely!

There is no way I could have done this 2 days after my knee replacement. I had minimal bruising. Getting in the shower was a nightmare. We have a walk in shower a small ledge thought I would never get on the other side of it. I cried so much those first days. But I made it!

Now that you're 2 weeks post op, start with your incision message. Using your thumbs, in small circles, pressing down as hard as you can handle, up and down the incision. This breaks up the scar tissue and reduces the appearance of the scar. 4-6 times a day. I used this.
