1. No pimple patch. Instead use sanitiser. 2. Teaspoon of softer is enough. Or don’t use it at all 3. No kitchen roll, have good tea towels and one for spills and wash when needed. 4. All medicine are the same, don’t over use as your body will build resistance. Dont be consumed by consumerism.

I consider most of these normal. Except the kitchen roll thing. That seems weird and I mostly use cloths or tea towels to mop up spills anyway. Then they get chucked into the wash 🤷🏻♀️

My frugal habit: I don't use shaving cream. After some time in a hot shower, the hair is "soft" enough where you can shave with just a razor and hot water.

be careful with the branded Vs unbranded medicine due to quality control - at least in the US the eye drops that were causing people to lose vision were generic brands

fun fact: only medicine that actually helps my period cramps is liquid nurofen express. and its the only branded medicine i buy, because literally nothing else helps and i cant explain it. yes, i have tried store brand liquid ibuprofen, no it never has helped me.

Baking soda will do wonders for your clothes . Use it in regular wash with detergent . Never mix with vinegar .

If you must have pimple patches buy them cheap in home bargains. Ibuprofen is even cheaper in the likes of home bargains or b&m than supermarkets. Also buy your generic antihistamines from home bargains- so much cheaper and same active ingredient.

i use vinegar to soften towels etc. also using beans to bulk recipes that use any type of mince and reusable cloths/dish towels instead of kitchen roll

while pimple patches are made of hydrocolloid patches, it's not really 1:1 dupe because pimple patches are often infused with helpful substances like zinc, tea tree oil, salicylic acid, vitamins etc that help pimples heal even faster.

Medicine, is not quite "just marketing".It is also development of new meds and quality control.Its its tablets, go with generic.If its liquid, go with brand.
