I’ve been in Aldi & watched people steal alcohol, meat & other high value stuff. I asked the staff why they do nothing and they said it’s not store policy to confront shoplifters. Ok fair, but it’s clearly their store policy to harass pregnant mothers instead 🙄

If they’d done that to me I would have asked for a full refund. I would have been gutted that I didn’t get the stuff, but the enjoyment of showing them up would have outweighed the situation.

aldi have done this to my sister in law too! accused her and her partner of stealing stuff but it was from asda where they went before, and then told them it’s protocol to check under buggys/prams. how ridiculous!

I had that same experience once in Aldi as well but not the same Aldi so it must be a universal experience 😂 The snacks weren’t even things Aldi sold! 🙈
