NOT everything have to be comic accurate dear god. the reason it works well for Deadpool and spiderman is because they have a FULL MASK, and compensates the blank eyes with exaggerated body expressions, Batman is static, the reason why for example battinsons batman is so good is because you can literally see the emotional weight Bruce carries behind those masks, he doesn't jump around, make a shocked face, smile cheekily or go absolutely feral like wolverine does.

Use the Arkham method. Visible eyes normally but use white eyes when in detective mode or in some cases for intimidation

I feel like white eyes would work really well in the DCU but since there hasn't been any live action versions of batman with them people are afraid they'll mess it up, no white eyes are a lot easier to implement though and have been used to success before. I'm fine with both
