Just a note for others to not get your information from the movie or EPIC as the movie missed out key parts from the Odyssey like Aeolus and the wind bag and EPIC isn’t 100% accurate, for example antinous doesn’t try plan to 🍇 Penelope in the Odyssey while in EPIC he does.

all the people saying to read the acc poem need to take into account that the movie might be someone's first introduction to the myth and the poem isn't an easy read - so a retelling that's more digestible first is not a bad suggestion. Stephen Fry's retellings of greek myth are my personal favorites and are beautiful books as an introduction. let people ENJOY things like easy to consume retellings - you don't have to read the odyssey poem to know the story. (i learnt it from a horrible histories retelling as a kid!)
