I did this same thing with my college boyfriend of 2.5 years. Everyone thought we’d get married but something was missing. He was so kind and great but not for me. We both met different people and got married and lead totally different lives that are right for us. He called me years later to thank me for trusting my gut!

been there done that breaking up with a long-term partner that you just don't see a future with and they did nothing wrong. They were also the perfect human but for me I needed more. And I wouldn't have lived a life I have lived today if I would have stayed and I am very happy with that decision

Listen it’s ok if you figured out something that wasn’t right for you. Nothing wrong with Esther, she just wasn’t for you. So letting her go so she can go find her person and you can find yours is actually a really decent and kind thing to do. It’s the right thing to do.
