No one trains to limit the movement of their weapon arm or hand. The quickness of your draw depends on reaction time and muscle memory- training and repetition. What Price is doing is a subconscious move to protect the weapon. It’s a habit that makes persons carrying concealed weapons easier to spot. Less experienced or nervous carriers may even touch the weapon subconsciously to reassure themselves it’s there even though they’re trying to conceal it. Not just men with guns on hips either. If it’s in a purse or something, look for the carrier to hold the purse tight to them, etc. The things your alert or worried brain makes you do are fascinating.

Hi this is because he had had rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder. It’s a very common surgery for tier 1 teams guys because of heavy lifting in awkward positions. But it is a sign that he had had major training while still being relatively young. If he wasn’t in uniform it definitely stands out in a crowd
