Bless you always for your patience and big heart. I commend you! From what I see in the video, here's what I can suggest. You can experiment to see what works best for him: A. Food: Softened/soaked kibble, lightly mashed but not watery — easier for his tongue to gather and swallow since he cannot chew normally. You can also mash and shape the food into small, soft meatballs and place them in a mound in the bowl. B. Bowl: Wide, shallow (not flat) bowl with smooth, curved sides and no grooves — slow-feeder grooves are meant to create obstacles and may make eating more difficult for him. The bowl should also be securely fixed so it doesn't move and gives him a surface to push the food against with his tongue. C. Position: Elevated to a comfortable lower-mouth/chest level, unobstructed, and possibly tilted slightly toward him — this reduces reaching and keeps the food within easy tongue reach.
