Yeah, you don’t wanna be called a mechanic, mechanics are the people who can actually fix stuff. Technicians just plugged in the computer and it tells them whats wrong.

ill forever be a mechanic. I did the technician part for years at the dealer, but these new kids cant rebuild an entire engine and I can. I saw alot of really bad techs before I left the industry.
