It’s not an insane concept. Someone owns a house. They have people live there for money…… this is not what this lady should be rallying on. How about go after the fact homes and land pretty much across the nation are ungodly expensive. In my rural are near the red river in north Texas price of land and homes was affordable for regular working class blue collar people. If you made 60k a yr a small home on a few acres was extremely doable. Now in this same county. Grayson county unless you make at the very least 150K a yr you have no chance of making your own life. The influx of yuppie transplants who work 98% of the time remotely have driven up the price of everything in every rural small town county area in Texas. The mass gentrification in Texas going on right now is unreal, and nobody is talking about it…..

If I don't pay my rent I get evicted, if I don't pay my bills my utilities get turned off....the only member of my home that does not help pay those is my 10 yr old child...and even he knows that if I don't pay those things HE will be homeless as well! These are people who still wants to be a kid and have a grown up to do everything for them.
