He was born in the holy city of Karbala in 1966. He began his journey in reciting Hussaini poems at an early age, and his voice gained wide recognition during the 1990s. His Career: He became well known for his sorrowful and deeply moving style in performing elegies, as well as his powerful voice that carries deep emotional expression, especially during the nights of Ashura and the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein. He has held numerous gatherings inside Iraq and abroad, in Gulf countries, Europe, and America, and he has a wide audience from different age groups. What Distinguishes Him: Strong emotional expression and interaction with the text. Careful selection of impactful poems that address the tragedy of Karbala and the values of sacrifice and patience. Variety in rhythmic lamentation styles, ranging between sorrowful and passionate tones.
