Yes! the dark wash on the shelves is very fantasy-themed! Looks like they would be at home in some secret society hidden room in a magical university or a wizard’s magic shop covered in curiosities. Can’t wait to follow your journey decorating the new space 📚 💕

I love the colors you mentioned! Have you ever considered the blue/teal/green ish color that outlander used for master Raymond’s apothecary? It could definitely set the background for the dark academia vibes and would go with the brown shelves imo. Either way congrats on the new project!
