OA freaked me out cause when I was a kid I used to ‘reset my timeline’ by going in my room and doing a weird burst of random movements, the point was they were random and unplanned and hadn’t happened before, to give the timeline a burst of newness so it could pivot accordingly.

I recently started watching it for the first time after hearing a lot about it, and oh man, i find it incredibly slow. I’m literally two episodes in and it feels like nothing relevant has happened, and nothing has been explained. Does it actually pick up eventually? Or are all episodes slow, ending in a mysterious (yet annoying) cliff hanger? Like, is it one of those shows that give answers until the end of the season? Or are things explained after the 2nd episode?
