He’s not giving the full picture about reduction of demand or rerouting having helped significantly. In reality, most of the “demand destruction” softening prices is countries like the US and China depleting their oil reserves. If that runs out, oil goes through the roof. Oil prices are a 1-month futures financial trade, not an indication of current physical volumes
