@officiallyiretioluwa: Today, when I looked over at my son reading in this very public library, my first thought was honestly “what on earthhhh😦” But I slowed down and remembered he’s literally a child… this is a comfortable space created for them to read, explore their imaginations and dream, and he was doing just that so why limit what that looks like. I also remembered that since he was much younger this has always been the way he’s enjoyed reading, watching his favourite shows from underneath our table and building his intricate Lego creations. One day he’ll grow out of this and I’ll miss just watching him. The Bible says we should be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath (James 1:19 (NKJV)). This is wisdom for every scenario, we can miss the beauty in life jumping to control or conclude on things before taking a step back to truly evaluate. #christianparents #raisingchildren #readersoftiktok #imagination #biblewisdom
