Y’all need to understand that for a meat bird eight weeks is not very long. These breeds grow extremely fast. And you do have to butcher them before they get too big, because their bodies will start to deteriorate because they can’t move after they get too big. And I can 100% guarantee you that these birds will have a happier, healthier life than any commercial farm bird.
