It was a really strange World Cup, but oh well it is what it is. The journey to the final was beautiful. Getting emotional over every goal from Leo the hat-trick, the free kick, the goal against Egypt, the assists against England. I watched the best players of today like Lamine, Pedri, Rodri, Rice, Kane, etc. in action. Messi is the best player in the world and in history, by a wide margin. I’ll never feel the way I felt with Messi again. This version of Leo reminded me of the 2019 version; the way he carried the team that year was incredible. Thank you, Messi, for making me love this beautiful sport. You couldn't ask for anything more from him. Three World Cup finals it’s insane. Thank you, Messi.
