Just a passerby :
It’s not a hobby, it’s an addictive obsession. I was married to one like him but it was model airplanes. Even 2 years in marriage counseling didn’t change it. One of the last things our counselor said to him was you will end up alone. 30 years later, that’s exactly what happened after other relationships/marriages failed for the same reason. Our son has minimal interaction with him. I’m 2 states away and see my our son more then his father that’s in the same city. Ex still has his hobby, he is single with no interested females and now sees what the danger is. He finally admitted to our son that he is lonely.

I have 1 trip a year i have gone on since i was 6 its every year same weekend and a specific group of friends 1 weekend and I have not gona nearly as regularly now that I have kids
