That’s totally normal for lions mane jellies! Because of how their bell is shaped, they will turn inside out when they pulse. That’s usually a stress response in jellies but with lions manes, that degree of inside-outness is totally normal. It’s also normal for them to stop pulsing and drift for bit! Especially when there’s food in the water. They sort of go into food collection mode :)

I dont know a SINGLE thing about proper keeping/husbandry of jellyfish. BUT I feel like the water current is a bit strong. Jellies are so delicate 😭

I came from the previous video of when she got them and their thinner tentacles seemed to start off longer but after being pushed so hard by that flow maybe they are ripping off. Stick a sponge over the outlet to baffle the flow a bit so its less harsh, stressful and damaging for them and im sure theyll thrive. (I am a fishkeeper and this is just my observation and opinion) and also in this video now it looks as if they anticipate the hard flow in that area and are trying to get away from it hence the angle and pulse direction when they feel the stronger flow pulling them to it

I know nothing about jellies, or any fish for that matter, but these little guys seem to be swimming more intentionally than others you have had in the past. They’re getting pushed in the current and it looks like they are immediately trying to swim out of it, as though they don’t like being pushed around. (Yes, I know they can’t actually think due to lack of brain 😂)
