This happened to me. My cat almost choked to death and I had razor scratches all over me. Took them down immediately. Glad you’re both ok.

I do window coverings for a living and this is a prime example of why we no longer do anything with cords! all new products come either cordless or wall mounted pull chains as a safety precaution.
