Cerydra, the tyrant who saved everyone Cerydra, the only one who made Evernight take a step back, because she forced her to obey with her New Law Cerydra, who didn't just want everything.. but cared for everything. I love this character, because she's not so clear cut. I wish we had gotten more time with the later Heirs

she didn't HAVE to sacrifice herself. she had to sacrifice a demi-god. either herself or hysilens. she made hysilens so angry at her so she would be willing take cerydra's life. all so cerydra didn't have to kill the person she cared for. she manipulated Hysilens to make the choice and sacrifice for her, because she didn't wish to kill her closest ally.

And how she was sure that, if she didn't win against Lygus, she would accelerate the birth of irontomb and take the whole universe and erudition with Amphoreus, I love her, she IS the perfect ruler for a world that was a game between gods, she wasn't just a piece in the game, but a player too, and the fact that everyone inside and outside of Amphoreus recognized her as a key part of the outcome, it's a perfect gray character in all aspects ♥️♥️♥️, wish we can see more of her in the future, even defying the IPC and their colonization

Its fully my belief Hysilens never actually killed her, but left Cerydra to do it herself. At the end, its hinted very heavily that this is the case ("Even though you killed the Imperator in the past 30 million cycles, you finally found your own law" it implies that this is finally the cycle Hysilens makes the differing choice) Ultimately, to change the Law, she gave up everything, including the only person she ever truly cared for above herself by setting the board for Hysilens to kill her, only to lose even that most loyal queen, her most cherished piece and loyal executioner.
