My "healthy" 19 yo got cancer and had chemo for 2.5 years. That was enough to scare me into always having insurance. I hate the cost, but without it we'd either be bankrupt or they wouldn't have treated him. The system here is horrible

Thank Obama for ACA mess. Also illegals get free healthcare in and out of network 100% free in CT and NY and probably other states

Medical providers should be required by law to have flat pricing. Having to jump through hoops to dispute prices and the fact that prices change based on whether or not you have insurance is absolutely crooked

Check out medical tourism too! I saw a girl who went to Greece and got all her bloodwork and tests for like $60.

We did Christian healthcare ministries as a backup for catastrophic events. One hospitalization can be detrimental.

Why isn't health insurance based on health, age, and usage?!! It's actually based on how much you make a year! So terrible!!! There's premium, copay, co-insurance, in/out of network, high deductibles, out of pocket this and that... Ughhh! Glad you and your family got a solution!

Does crowd health have free telehealth? I know CHM has free telehealth doctors that you can see anytime and get prescriptions or referrals, but the deductible is $$$$

I’ve been with Crowd Health for a year after I retired from my job in law enforcement. My health insurance would have been $800 a month. I said nope. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. I also have a direct primary care physician for the small stuff.

Keep in mind that pre-existing conditions - conditions previously diagnosed, documented, or symptomatic are not eligible for funding in the first two years of membership. Starting in the third year, funding for these conditions is capped at $25,000 per year.

we signed up for Blueberry pediatrics to supplement telehealth visits for our daughter in between pediatric checkups. they have been amazing! Zion healthshare is slightly more expensive monthly but it includes a free subscription to Teledoc which has come in handy many times.
