My mother passed just before my wedding. My dad passed just before she did. My grandfather was all I had left. And this picture makes me cry so much because he was alone but he was so happy to be there too! I cried the whole day and smiled the whole day!

Lost my dad to cancer 3.12.26 and got engaged 7.12.26… anytime I sit down and start looking at wedding stuff I can’t help but be cry/be sad and know he won’t be there to walk me down the aisle.

This is felt. I got engaged in March and I lost my grandpa the month before. It’s something that I would have never thought would happen. We found out late January/early February that he had a fast aggressive growing cancer and less than 3 weeks later we lost him. I’m keeping one of his blue shirts and actually having it sewn in the inside of my wedding dress; he would of loved to be a part of my big day but I know he will have the best seat in the house.

I lost my mom, and all four of my grandparents. Whenever someone asks “what about your mom…” “think about your grandparents when to do so-so…” etc..it hurts and reminds me that they aren’t physically here anymore 😢 -2027 bride

My cousin who was going to be my matron of honor for my wedding on 9/18/27 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. She was also getting married in October and I was also in her wedding. We have been planning and doing things together for our weddings and now she’s just gone. I am so overwhelmed by grief I can’t even think about planning for a day she’s not going to be there 😭💔
