Sometimes the aberdeen knot breaks and what I end up doing is bringing the tail out, hemostat on the tail, dermabond, then when it dries cut the tail at the skin

Tell me about your sailing history or Boy Scout CV. I use this knot a lot - a buried or Aberdeen is not quite deep enough and sometimes leads to a little suture abscess which I hate
