I understand the Korra hate but she was set up to be the worst from the start. Her teachers failed her and didn’t train her to be the avatar, they were training her as a weapon. As a result she failed as an avatar and thus failed the world. She could’ve been one of the greatest but she was around a lot of selfish people that used her instead.

One thing I like about this show already it’s really makeing me like Cora‘s character even more because while she did F up, it’s her trying to fix it and regretting it and never been being able to do so it just makes her feel so real and really she was a character who had to fight and struggle for so much. There was a lot of flaws with that show, but I will still love her no matter what that is a woman who I respect and love more than anything.

As much as hating Korra is justified, we all know they aren't going to follow through with making this situation her fault. It's more than likely that she's either being blamed for something she didn't do, or her actions to save the world prevented something far worse that the world isn't aware of, so they blame her for the state it was left in after.
