Quick question? My son is t1d. He was just diagnosed this year in May. He’s been in the Omnipod for a little over 2 months now and he loves it. I notice that you place yours “upside down”, is this the correct way or is this just how it works best for you? Just curious if maybe we’ve been placing it on the wrong direction.

I tried my Dexcom G7 on the front of my thigh this time, and I’m loving it. So accurate. Took forever for me to change it up.

I have a hard time not using my arm. I do like my thigh, hip is okay, stomach left a pretty nasty bruise and bled so I want to try it again but scared.

im the same with my Dexcom, inner upper right arm 😳 It is the only place that gives me the most accurate readings 😁

Im on the tandem mobi but im SO SCARED to use my thigh. When i was on mdi i would bruise and hit veins and i am never sure if it’s a smart idea

I have to angle mine due to the reaction I have to the pods cannula/insertion when first applied. If it isn’t slightly angled it gets really infected easily. I’ve been told angled also helps with lowering the chances of pod leakage as well. Which does seem to work to me. ☺️@Addy Tayler | T1D
