My favorite thing was the complete lack of judgement. Everyone reacted completely differently to the situation, but every reaction was completely valid and justified (even when seemingly unhinged). I LOVED it! And the fathers’ love for their son? Chef’s kiss!🥰

I know I'm in the minority here but this was probably my least favorite TJ book. I appreciate how beautifully heartbreaking the end is but I just didn't feel a connection to the characters. not like I do in a lot of his other books.
