It’s such a privilege to be loved by a cat. It takes time, respect, and kindness. One of my favourite things is how my cats will lay on my chest when I’m down or not feeling well. They just know. It’s incredible how they use their purring to regulate human nervous systems.

So my boy savannah follows me everywhere but doesn’t sleep with me … my girl savannah is more aloof but collapses on the floor when I pass for a tummy smooth. And they both great me at the door when I come home. They love differently
