Lilith joining the crew also makes sense when you think about how much effort Vegapunk put into studying the void century. He goes thru all that and it causes EggHead to happen. Why wouldn’t the smartest person in the world who studied the void century want to know what the One Piece actually is?

Imagine Lilith/vegapunk got Imu blood splatter from Elbaf…what can you make from that DNA sample? learn his genetic data, recreate his fruit, make Clones of him, or splice traits from him into his pacifista (assuming he is not the perfect specimen to add traits unto).

Here’s a thought: Imu uses “Mu” when talking about itself in third person because it’s gone through a total loss of ego/self. As an immortal figure from the Void Century, it has lived so long that it outgrew any normal sense of personal identity or attachments. That’s why it sees its own power and actions as simply belonging to “Mu” instead of “me” or “mine.” This explains the cold, calm way Imu acts and makes decisions; no personal emotions, grudges, or desires left to get in the way.

Lilith IS Vegapunk. As well as the other satellites. They're basically an honorable crew member at this point, and Franky has a ton more opportunities to interact

Tbh Oda has been washed for every strawhat outside of the Monster Trio. But at least in Elbaph Brook and Robin got some good focus and writing. Franky got a buff. Others have been irrelevant. I'm hoping they get more 1v1 fights tho.
