I wish my nurse would’ve gotten a pic like yours but my baby wasn’t stable and was taken to the NICU immediately and then transferred to a different hospital🥺

I wish I could’ve gotten a picture like this 😭 was rushed for emergency c and my epidural failed & my partner couldn’t go in with me after all bc of the general anesthesia…

So so sorry you had this happen 💔 my first baby I had to be put under too for my emergency section. They got him out in 2 minutes and saved his life. But it does sometimes feel like I missed something! My second (planned that time) section was so much better and I’m having my third in a few weeks! I promise the initial sting passes as they grow 🤎

THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME minus the infection. I was so sad I missed it but I find comfort in remembering how scared I was of feeling the csection because none of the meds were working. I feel like I would’ve been more traumatized that way😅

same mama.. 3 failed epidurals and 15hrs of labor later with pitocin later .. had to go under general anesthesia too 😭

This happened to me on my second birth. It was so scary. I woke up in an empty waiting room filled with 10 beds beside me without a baby next to me. it took me a few minutes to compose myself where i asked where was my baby if she was even alive, and they pushed me back to my room where my husband had her. Truly horrific.

I'm so so sorry this happened!😣I had very similar experience with my first. Two epidurals, boosters, infection, epidural didn't do anything for me during start of c section so they had to do general anesthesia and intubate. It's been 3 years and I still mourn that precious moment that I never got. It's hard cause you're thankful your baby was healthy and safe but very traumatizing at the same time. You are SO strong💗
