Thank you for sharing with us. Everything you’re describing is completely normal and will get better with time. For what it’s worth, I got engaged at age 26 and felt like I was “ahead” of all my friends’ timelines. I was devastated when our engagement ended and spent the next 6 years dating and in short term relationships, all while my friends started getting married, which made me feel even more “behind.” I ultimately met my now husband at age 32 and as cheesy as it sounds, I’m really grateful for the timing of it all. Not only did I end up with the guy of my dreams, but along the way I spent a lot more time with my friends/family than I had in a LTR, went on solo trips, advanced in my career, and really grew as a person. Take the time to grieve this relationship, but just know that the best is yet to come 💕

It’s our biological clock for women and it places a lot of pressure. That’s a very real thing that makes not being married with kids or on the way, like a failure when it’s not. God / the Universe will allow life to fall into place when it’s supposed to. Take care 🥰 ( I’m 56, I was so there too )

I restarted around 28, had to find a new place while living in a city I didn’t know a ton of people, looking back it was some of the best times of my life and I met my now partner :) allow yourself to heal in whatever way makes sense for you. A follower since Detroit days 🤍
