Bailiffs can't do anything either bcuz they're acting on false information. The summons, which is their first attempt at frightening you, is issued without judicial procedure. lt has been processed in bulk (ie hundreds done at one time) by council staff who have no lawful authority to do so. A magistrate must issue the summons. Do not attend court. The liability order comes next. Around this point you should email your local council tax office asking them for written proof of the "original" summons, (not the one issued by the council) & the name of who exactly issued it. Was it a magistrate or someone delegated by the magistrate to act with lawful authority. They are unable to bcuz it never went thru the correct judicial procedure.

if you get a malicious communication from a debt collector the first thing to do is check out who the addressee is. if the name begins mr/mrs/ms/etc then its addressed to a legal fiction that is NOT me. simply RETURN TO SENDER AS ADDRESSEE IS NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS. send by recorded delivery as proof of return (unopened). you can note that, the information they hold is in violation of data protection law because it is not in accordance with principle 4 of the data protection act and therefore they must amend their records in accordance with principle 7 of the data protection act. if they persist and turn up at your door. they will claim to be a bailiff. in that case, demand they produce their warrant card. chances are they will flash a debt recovery agent id badge. this is proof that they are making false representation of a public official which is a crime in itself. and all this happens even before you make a statement of truth in fact stating that, I do not owe nobody anything. this is called a rebuttal and their only course of action is to register an official claim with the court whereby the onus is on them to provide the physical proof of claim.

Ask For the deed of assignment they will say they haven’t got the deed however they have a notice of assignment and they have legitimate interest if you are in the six year period of open an account then expect a CCJ if over six years as long as no payments have been made within the six years then statute barred can be in forced.
