think of an ai agent, as a personal assistant (employee) that's INSIDE your computer. it can work on its own, without you prompting it to perform each individual task. so to translate into "human" what happened is this: you employ someone to perform security checks on your business and you lock them in an office to do the job. the employee needs more info that is available to them inside that office, so they pick the lock on the door, leave, and go to the office (belonging to another company) next door, pick the lock, go in, and start looking for the info they need in order to complete their job. and they got caught!
