You can breed Anubis, then put him through the dissassembly and get tech books for unlimited points. Its not every one but if you breed a bunch youll get more in no time.

I unlock what I absolutely need, base upgrades, armor, spheres, a couple saddles but I hoard the rest till the end to unlock the fun stuff for my final ‘home base’
