Turns out I got put on a 72 hour psych hold and only found out 15 years later after telling the story to my ER nurse wife about how I got drunk, jumped off the second floor, all cause I was proving that some airforce guys are some bitches. Then telling her all the nurses were so nice, they gave me my own room, hung out with me all the time, were constantly checking in on me. She was all “yeah no one believed you, your a combat vet with documented PTSD. They all thought you were trying to kill yourself”. “Yeah, that checks out”
