I am diabetic and specifically needed to eat low carb while in the hospital for a hysterectomy. I had requested it. They brought me fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, and glazed carrots. Even my doctor looked at it and basically said wtf?

After my hysterectomy surgery my drug addled mind thought a bowl of tomato soup was a good idea because it was something light. Nope too acidic was so nauseous took everything I had in Me to keep from tossing it back up. Still to this day have trouble eating tomato soup.

As a cancer survivor who spent to much time in the hospital I never understood how people weren’t more cautious of smells in the cancer wing. But I have a question, how did you eat or what did you eat durning the time you were admitted?

I dove into my backyard pool when I was 16 and broke my neck a week before my JR year. I was in the hospital for 4 months. I threw up every day for 6 weeks…everything made me sick 🤷🏻♀️. They never figured out why. I feel your teenage medical trauma. Hugs…love your sense of humor!
