I was 12 years old when 911 happened. Every single school in my TV was broadcasting live action. I saw the second tower we hit in my 8th grade math class. I have heard countless other people my age share that it was broadcasted in their schools. And I wonder why that is? Is it because they were waiting? “war On terror“. Is it because they needed to recruit people my age to join the Armed Forces?

I really enjoy your posts but you have sympathy for MAGA because they look like you. It's a privilege to have the luxury to believe nonsense, the luxury to stand firm on a lie. America is here today because too many empathize with those that look like them instead of realizing that the majority "not all" are just evil and racist. Until non-melanated people acknowledge and accept this reality we will remain here.

I was 21 and in college.... while many recall this time as a time of unity with fellow Americans, but I recall keenly the Islamophobia because my college was very diverse and had many women from all over the world and I remember how terrorized they were by locals driving around campus shouting slurs and throwing things at them after 9/11. 😔
