All these people in the comments fighting with the Dutch about what the capital of the Netherlands is. It’s Amsterdam. Period. Has been since the founding of this county. The Hague is the seat of the government. Those can be two different things. It’s an unusual situation, when the seat of government isn’t also (one of the) capitals of the country. But it absolutely can be. It’s specifically set in Dutch law that only Amsterdam is the capital of this country.
