As a teacher, I suggest you could set timers to help him speed up, for example set an alarm that means shower, etc

Have you ever thought of teaching other parents when their kids are diagnosed and they are around elementary school age how to prepare them for this type of future? It is so healthy for him and you guys to set him up with this success.
