I have been to Grief therapy after loosing my husband in 2010 in a tragic accident. My 3 children were the priority at the time so a lot of my healing has been in different phases 51 yrs old and still working on myself everyday. I talk to my friends, I talk to God everyday. I pray about the areas that still hurt, I exercise and for me pouring into others and bringing them Joy has healed so much in me. We are imperfect beings, but every little step brings so much peace! ❤️

my biggest advice of today/tonight is do not let a soul on this earth emotionally manipulate you into thinking your pain is not valid. Anything you’ve been put through and experienced in this life which has caused you hurt,trauma,upset, or literally re-altered your entire future or life in some way, it’s all VALID. you’re hurt is and always will be VALID. You will heal and can get through this, never push down you’re feelings no matter how big or how small they may be. make sure you feel and make sure you push through it 💕

Therapy is huge! I journal or have an app to get my feelings out. I talk to God, friends, and listen to what my body needs. Some days it’s productivity and a good workout. Others it’s rest and reading! Be honest with myself about what I want and need has been the shift. You’ve got this!! 🫶🏼

How do I when the thing that’s making me feel like I’m drowning feels like it’s never gonna end 😭 it’s been 6 years and I’m still fighting in court from being graped by my stepfather when I was 16. I know it’s very common for them to not take accountability for this crap but I absolutely hate him 100000x more for making me go through the trial instead of just owning up to what he did. He’s a drunk who doesn’t know how to keep his hands to himself when he’s in a crappy marriage and apparently kids aren’t excluded. It’s something I fear I’ll never be able to heal from 😭 I was soooo freaking close back in 2024 until early 2025 when they reopened the case to indict him. It’s a whole thing where the case wasn’t handled correctly from the jump and it’s been eating me alive even though I know it wasn’t my fault, none of it. But I fear that makes it worse for me. I have people to blame but that’s all it is. They don’t get punished for their shitty actions, I do. I’m the one that gets punished for shit THEY did. 😭😭 sorry rant over
