ive called before and they never came twice and came hours later on 3 other incidents. I was shot and cut up a week after my last call . most law enforcement sucks and so do a lot of these dispatchers.

Idk about other states but in MA every 911 call requires a response. My child accidentally hit the emergency call button on my phone 911 called me back I told them it was an accident and they said they had to come out to make sure it was an accident… when they showed up they told me it’s required for every single call

You think dispatchers are bad in The United States they are nothing compared to dispatchers in Australia. They hang up on people who are genuine and are of need in a serious way. They ask people who have dialled emergency do they have a mental illness and if the person said yes they don’t send police. Many people in my country Australia have dialled emergency only to be put in a queue. Most of the time no police turn up at all. If you ring back your mobile phone number is recognised by the dispatcher computer and the phone just goes dead. You can be waiting till next Christmas for help and it won’t arrive. They have a police portal that they ask you to call and when you do someone either answers the call who is not law enforcement it’s a volunteer working from their home. They say they will transfer you to your local police station and all you get is crickets for five minutes. Everything is done online these days. I don’t report anything anymore to police in Australia and I mean nothing not even a serious crime that may have occurred. Nothing is ever done about it. You have to be your own protector in my country. All the police stations are being demolished in towns because AI technology is taking over. It’s an AI world now.
